The problem is there are disorders other than TMD, and better known than it, which throw up similar symptoms. As a result, the patient is usually late to get a TMD diagnosis, and hence, a right treatment.
Besides, for TMD to be treated, it is important to first establish what has caused it. If the cause is not found and fixed, TMD will relapse. That said, tracing the cause is no easy job. It requires a doctor with a great degree of skill and experience to be able to determine it.
However, therein also lies the problem. There are very few doctors in India who recognise TMD, let alone work on it.
The Right Bite CPC is among the few clinics in India to offer treatment for TMD and other related conditions. Dr Rajesh Raveendranathan, a pioneer in the field, works here. Besides him, Dr Girish PV, and Dr Abhimanyu Chaturvedi, two other big names in the field, are also part of The Right Bite CPC team.
The Right Bite CPC has other advantages, and they include:
Availability of a variety of TMD correction appliances that are uniquely crafted for each patients;
Excellent patient care and support services;
97% reduced pain symptoms; and
Complete ease of tension in the jaw
